Proud to support the Sutton Coldfield Sports Awards (2018)

Tomorrow night (1st February 2019) sees a host of supporters, nominees, sponsors and organisers come together to recognise and celebrate individuals, coaches, team, clubs and volunteers involved in all forms of sport within the Sutton Coldfield area. And, for the first time ever, this years presentation evening is SOLD OUT.

Our support

Aside from sponsoring the ‘Club of the Year Award’ category, we wanted to provide all of the amazing finalists a befitting program to celebrate their hard work and dedication to sport. We’ve redesigned last years programme, making improvements to the logo, typography, overall styling and page layout. Sport in Sutton tweeted to say how much they liked the new format…

Sport in Sutton expressed their support for the new programme design.

The programmes are printed, here and ready to go. We’re really looking forward to an evening of fun, laughter and celebration. Good luck to all of the finalists – we sincerely hope you have a great time.

More about the Sutton Coldfield Sports Awards

Organised by the Sutton Coldfield Community Sport and Physical Activity Network (CSPAN), the aim is to give everybody a platform to be seen, appreciated and given credit for their achievements over the past twelve months.

Everyone regardless of age, gender, physical ability has a chance to be represented. You can be an individual, part of a team, a coach or volunteer to take part. All nominees are then shortlisted to win an award in one of the following categories:

You can find more detailed information about each individual category here. Plus you can see previous winners here.

Championing local support and young talent, we grabbed the opportunity to sponsor the ‘Club of the Year Award’. This award celebrates a local club that has enjoyed significant success and achievement during 2018.

In particular the organisers are looking for clubs that have shown exceptional commitment to developing their club and promoting their associated activities to the local communities. This could include specific achievements in any development area such as increased junior membership or disability sport for example.

Aside from Brand Jam Limited, other key sponsors include the Sutton Coldfield Observer (Female and Male Sportsperson of the Year), Birmingham Community Leisure Trust (Lifetime Contribution to Sport Award), Mytime Active (Senior Team of the Year Award), Active Design Ltd (Achievement in Disability Sport), BMET Sutton Coldfield College (Elite Junior Sports Person of the Year), KYD Products (Junior Team of the Year), Ansons Solicitors (Veteran Sports Person/Team of the Year Award), Sutton Coldfield Town Council (Primary and Secondary School of the Year).
