The Emporium Online is what it says. A fantastic online marketplace full of quirky and unusual giftware for all kinds of people and all occasions.
Our client asked us to conceive and create their branding for them. It needed to be representative of the company’s quirkiness, attention to detail and first class customer service principals. Their branding would be used digitally and in traditional print format on packaging, post cards, business stationary and point of sale.
During our initial research, it was apparent that the customer service experience was of upmost importance to the owners. Whilst they were operating in an online retail environment they very much wanted their customers to feel appreciated. After the transaction process had taken place, they also wanted to leave a lasting impression that embodied a real sense of old-fashioned values that you would perhaps find more apparent in a bricks and mortar shop. Taking these core values we created a brand with a retro look which really captured that nostalgic feel of attentive service and traditional attitudes.
The single colour script logo set on a natural board finish gives the brand a high-end luxurious feel. Whilst the pop-art imagery used on the give-away postcards add a quirky fun slant to the brand. The tone of voice reinforces the brand values and service principals.
With the branding now in place, we rolled this out across the website, packaging and marketing material.
