Aspects Fact Sheet, Design for Print

Description

The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance. It is home to over 350 thought-provoking memorials covering both military and civilian associations, along with tributes for individuals. The 150-acre site is located on the edge of the National Forest in Staffordshire.

Aspects is their latest multimillion pound project. Once completed the £8m purpose built events centre will offer contemporary flexible spaces for up to 500 people.

What we delivered

Throughout the build, our client needed to promote the new facilities to prospective clients. We were asked to create an information document which the events team could use as a effective marketing communications tool.

Whilst still on-brand, we designed the Aspects fact sheet to be a little different. Use of the dark grey as a background helps to make the green colourway standout which was used to emphasise the natural environment in which the building is set. The dark background also portrays a sense of quality, clearly seen within the build and the service offering. This was further added to when the document was printed onto a heavy weight silk board with the leaf image treated with a high gloss varnish for extra contrast and depth.

Ultimately, the design process and choice of print application applied to the Aspects Fact Sheet delivers an intriguing snapshot of the principal nature and virtues the new building will offer to future users.
